User Experience

Although FreeCamStars has managed to retain some of its individual layout from the days when it was independent, it has recently been redesigned to include it’s the features and options of the network it now belongs to.

Juttering and breaks in communication are minimal, and the quality of video is generally high. If you’re not sure which models to look for then you can check out the ratings that other members gave models, check out the models’ biographies and even look at photos and videos that the models have uploaded. If you find a model who seems to push your buttons then you can add them to a list of your favorite models. The FreeCamStars system then lets you know when they are online, so you won’t miss them if you’re at your computer. Too frequently the site wants you to upgrade to a premium account. This is free, but it seems strange to even have 2 different free accounts if you essentially have to go for a premium account anyway. Another somewhat mystifying element of the site is its use of gold, which can be purchased using real money but is only really used for tipping. It acts as a good way to give money directly to models, but it is completely separate from the payment methods employed by the rest of the site. But that’s not a big problem, really.

FreeCamStars.com offers a flexible system which lures you in to extend the time you want to spend checking out live model web cam broadcasts each day. Probably the only negative aspect is that there are so many people on the site, and during party chat or gold shows keeping track of the conversation gets impossible. Getting a reply from the models is also near-impossible when it gets that crowded. But then again, if you want personal interaction you can always take your favorite into a private one-on-one chat – where she will be only yours.
